Orthwein Fine Motor Group Makes Valentine Cards

As part of “Fine Motor February,” the fine motor group, led by Emily, an OTA student, participated in a Valentine-making activity to share with their loved ones. Participants practiced their cutting skills, writing with different size markers, and hand coordination as they decorated cards with stickers and craft materials. The activity encouraged creativity while supporting fine motor strength, precision, and functional hand use in a fun and meaningful way, while also promoting self-expression and social connection.
