Additional Ways to Give

Paraquad offers several alternative methods for individuals to contribute to our mission of empowering people with disabilities. These options provide flexibility and convenience for our generous donors.

Recurring Donations: Set up automatic monthly or quarterly gifts to provide consistent support for our programs and services. This reliable funding stream helps us plan and budget effectively.

Our Monthly Giving Program!

Workplace Giving: Many employers offer matching gift programs or allow employees to donate through payroll deductions. Check with your HR department to see if your company participates in these initiatives.

Planned Giving: Join our Legacy Society! Consider including Paraquad in your estate plans through bequests, charitable trusts, or other legacy gifts. This ensures your support continues long into the future.

Create my will!

Gifts of Stock or Securities: Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, DAFs, or other securities can provide tax benefits while making a meaningful impact.

Make a non-cash gift!

In-Kind Donations: Contribute goods, services, or other non-cash items that align with our needs and priorities. Our team can provide guidance on appropriate in-kind gifts.

We appreciate all forms of support, as each contribution helps us advance our vision of an inclusive and accessible community. Please contact our Advancement team if you have any questions about these giving options.

  • Before enjoying the St. Louis Zoo, the Summer Blast participants had the opportunity to learn about employment from the head of Human Resources. They learned about a variety of jobs available at the zoo and the interviewing process.

Jonathan had the opportunity to use leadership skills when he helped the group find the exhibits they were looking for, and Bryce shared his love of snakes by encouraging his peers to wander the reptile exhibit. Kevin and Kolyn enjoyed the opportunity to pet the stingrays and everyone had a fun and educational zoo trip!

  • After graduating from high school, most, if not all, of the services Jack had been receiving were cut off. His mom, Karen, called Paraquad with the hope Jack could continue to find services that would support him in his adult life and further his education. After learning about Jack's aspirations to work in the restaurant industry, Paraquad immediately referred him to Chef Kelly and the Culinary Program. Jack has since graduated with his food safety certificates, and will continue to receive employment support through Paraquad. Jack was excited to come to class every single day and was a joy to see around the building. He was a dedicated student, eager to learn, and eager to lend a hand. Jack is now employed, and we know he will take his talents and positive spirit with him as he continues to be a valued member of our society!

  • Bettie was ready to move into her new home, but there was one major problem. She could not get inside her house due to the inaccessibility for her power wheelchair. Prior to Bettie's ramp installment, she was unable to live at home. Thanks to Paraquad and Home Depot, Bettie can now leave and enter her home at her leisure. "They really put a lot of thought into the design, listened to what I wanted, and executed my vision for the ramp" The ramp has given Bettie the freedom and accessibility to say hello to her neighbors, grocery shop, attend church, and the hair salon!
