April 2025 Call-A-Ride Status Report
Metro Call-A-Ride performed 38,841 total passenger trips in April 2025, which is the highest number of trips delivered since February 2020. The number of passenger trips increased 5.06% from last month, and April 2025 passenger trips increased by 38.2% over April 2024 (in which 28,100 trips were performed). There were 46,658 passenger trips scheduled in April 2025. There were no ADA capacity denials. (See the breakdown of other denial types on the following page.) We had 190 missed trips in April, which is a bit high, but is down about 31% from last month. One hundred percent of Call-A-Ride passenger trips were ADA eligible. Call-A-Ride provided 9,790 wheelchair/lift trips during April which accounted for 25.2% of all trips provided. There were 575 ADA eligible scheduled trips completed by an overflow partner provider. This brokerage model allows Call-A-Ride to balance paratransit demand and resources at peak times when driver or van resources are otherwise constrained. Call-A-Ride handled 37,595 calls in April: 19,909 calls into the Reservations Call Center and 17,686 calls on the Customer Assistance Line. The average wait time in the Call-A-Ride Reservations queue was 105 seconds; the average wait time in the Customer Assistance queue was 41 Seconds.
