Home Modifications
Program
The Home Modifications Program provides safety assessments and minor modifications to enable people with disabilities and older adults to live safely and independently in their own homes.
A licensed Occupational Therapist will provide a phone consultation to identify needs and determine eligibility. A follow-up home assessment may be necessary to determine feasibility and/or make recommendations for modification.
Services Include:
Safety assessments
Durable medical equipment recommendations and training
Minor home modifications, such as installing grab bars, widening doorways and building or installing ramps
Modifications are dependent on many factors and may not be feasible
Eligibility:
St. Louis City or County resident
Based on annual household income
