RACE FAQ's

What time does the race start?
9:00am

Will there be bathroom facilities?
Yes, we will have plenty of accessible and regular port-a-potties

Can I run with my pet?
Only service animals will be allowed on the course.

Can I use my stroller?
Yes, strollers are permitted on the course.

What is the minimum age requirement?
There is no minimum.

Can I register on race day?
Yes, but we strongly suggest that you register beforehand.

Will there be water stations?
Yes, there will be 2 water stations along the route and snacks and water/sports drinks at the finish line for all racers.

How do I volunteer for the race?
Email kmchugh@paraquad.org with your name, phone number, and e-mail address.

Is there a course time limit?
No, but we will stop timing two hours after the start time.

Can I walk the 5K?
Yes, the 5K will have walkers, runners, and rollers.

What if I can’t participate after I have registered?
All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Is there a participation award?
Top 3 finishers in each category will receive trophies.

Will I be able to see my results?
You will be able to check the Paraquad website for results following the race.

My business is interested in sponsoring this event. What do I do?
If you would like to be a sponsor at one of our sponsor levels, email kthacker@paraquad.org.

What if something happens to my wheelchair on the course?
We will have someone to do light repairs, but will have no spare parts. Most wheelchair racers do their own maintenance and fix their own flats.

How long is the race?
5K which equals 3.1miles.
